The reality of following (the Sunnah) and the principles of innovation

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih Al-'Uthaymeen (rahimahullah), said as follows:

“That following (the Sunnah) is not realised except if the action coincides with the legislation in six affairs:

1) The reason (why the action is done)

If a man was to worship Allaah on the basis of a reason that is not legislated then this is Bid’ah (an innovation) and it is rejected from its companion.

Examples of Minor Shirk

Speech of Sheikh Saalih Al Fawzaan (rahimahullah)

Translated by Yasin Abu Ibrahim

A person should not underestimate Shirk (polytheism; associating partners with Allaah in worship) and say: “This is [only] minor Shirk.”
What are examples of Minor Shirk?
For example swearing by other than Allaah. Like swearing by the Prophet, swearing by so-and-so and swearing by the amaanah (trust).

Deviant Interpretations given to the Kalima - Part 2

The second deviant interpretation that we are going to learn is the interpretation given by the Thableeq Jamaath and some of the Soofies. this has no definite interpretation, they explain it as that "There is no creator except Allah", and sometimes say that "To Allah belongs everything in the universe, Allah has power over all things".

Its identical in their preaching, when they call towards religion, they say "You have wealth, but thats what Allah has given to you, its not becouse of you efforts ...." and sometimes, "Allah created this ... Allah created that ...... Allah is the creator of all things"

Deviant interpretations given to the Kalima - Part 1

The purpose behind prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) preaching consistently the arabic statement "La ilaaha illallah"  is to establish in the hearts that There is none worthy of being worshiped except Allah, thus its the meaning of La ilaaha illallah. There are many thing that are being worshiped other than Allah, However, the only one worthy of being worshiped in truth is, Allah alone. Everything else that is worshiped other than Allah is worshiped in falsehood.

Mawlaana Mawdhoodhi & his denial of Dajjal ; Jamaath-e-Islam in silence over refute.

Mawlaana Mawdhoodhi, the founder of Jamaath-e-Islam is criticised by scholars for his rejection of the advent of Dajjal for which there are many authentic ahadeeth reported informing of his coming. The method used or the words used by Mawlaana Mawdhoodhi when rejecting the coming of Dajjal are more dangerouse than the other ways used by deviants when rejecting a hadeeth.

General Shia sects

There are many Shia sects in history and the Shias have historically always splintered because of the very nature of their fundamental doctrine of Imamate (leadership).

Aqeedha Lesson - Belief In Thawheedh - Part 9

Allah’s descent

It is reported in authentic hadeeths that Allah descends to the lowest heaven in the last third of every night.

Narrated Abu Huraira (rali Allahu anhu):
Allah's Apostle (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, "Every night when it is the last third of every night, our Lord, the Superior, the Blessed, descends to the nearest heaven and says: Is there anyone to invoke Me that I may respond to his invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone asking My forgiveness so that I may forgive him?"

Who are the Shi'ites (Raafidah)?

From the greatest of evils present, those which corrupt one’s Imaan, and harms one’s Religion is the tribulation of the Raafidah Shia – these individuals who portray their falsehood as if it alone, is the true Islaam. This deception has reached a point whereby some of those who profess to be upon the Sunnah have called for greater nearness, cooperation and affection towards the Raafidah Shia, claiming that the differences between the People of Sunnah and the Raafidah, who call themselves Ithnaa Ashariyyah (the Twelvers) are merely in minor subsidiary affairs and not in the foundations of the Islamic Faith – this is from their misguidance, ignorance and self-delusion.

Hassan Al Banna - Ikhwanul Muslimeen - Neglected Thawheedh

Work of Shaikh Ahmad an-Najmee (rahimahullah) -

Allaah says in Surat al-Kahf (ayat : 103-105):

Say (O Muhammad): Shall We tell you the greatest losers in respect of (their) deeds? “Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought that they were acquiring good by their deeds! “They are those who deny the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord and the Meeting with Him (in the Hereafter). So their works are in vain, and on the Day of Resurrection, We shall not give them any weight.

Speaking ill of the Sahaaba (rali Allahu anhum)

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-‎Uthaymeen (rahimahullah) said:

Reviling the Sahaabah falls into three categories:

1 ‎ Reviling them by saying that most of them were kaafirs or that all of them were evildoers. This is kufr because it is a rejection of the praise of Allaah and His Messenger for them and their approval of them. The one who doubts that such a person is a kaafir is himself a kaafir, because this view implies that those who transmitted the Qur‎aan and Sunnah were kaafirs or evildoers.

Tawakkul - Depend, have trust upon Allah - Must Read!!!

Tawakkul : It is an obligatory act and one of the tenets of Eemaan (faith). It is a light for our hearts and a means for us to seek nearness towards Allah in a manner that absolutely nothing else can achieve. The essence of this quality of the heart is built upon two very important pillars: dependence upon Allah and trust in Allah

We may often trust a person, without necessarily depending upon them, and likewise we may depend upon a person without fully trusting them. However when it comes to Our Lord, both exist simultaneously in perfection. So why are we so ready to trust others, but so quick to question Allah?

Aqeedha Lesson - Belief In Thawheedh - Part 8

Where is Allah?

Allah has clearly stated in the Quran that He is above the Arsh (Throne)

His saying:
"Are you sure that He Who is Above the heaven will not cleave the earth beneath you? Or are you sure that He Who is above the heaven will not send against you a stone-charged hurricane." [Quran 67:17-18]

Aqeedha Lesson - Belief In Thawheedh - Part 7

Seeing Allah

Allah is not seen in this worldly life. When Prophet Moosa (alaihi salaam) asked to see Allah in this life, Allah said:
"You cannot see Me" [Quran 7:143]

Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) also said in the hadeeth regarding the Dajjaal:
"..... You will not see your Lord until you die...." [Thirmidhi]

Aqeedha Lesson - Belief In Thawheedh - Part 6

Allah is not imageless

It is obligatory upon a person to believe in Allah, as Allah and His messenger (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) described Him. There are many Quranic verses and Hadeeth affirming Allah of Hands, Feet, Face, Shin etc.... Therefor it is obligatory upon a person to have eemaan in them.

For Example Regarding His Hands:-

His saying:
(Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents you from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with both My hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones? [Quran 38:75]

Aqeedha Lesson - Belief In Thawheedh - Part 5

Thawheedh Al Asma vas Sifaath

It is to single out Allah in His Names and Attributes.
From Eemaan in Allah is to have eemaan in those of His Asma-ul Husna (Beautiful Names) and Sifathul Ulya (Lofty Attributes) that is mentioned in the Qur'an and those that affirmed by the messenger (sal) without -
1) Tahreef (distorting the wording or the meaning)
2) Ta’teel (divesting or denying the Attributes)
3) Takyeef (asking/saying how)
4) Tamtheel (resembling Allah to any of His creation).

Aqeedha Lesson - Belief In Thawheedh - Part 4

Actions and beliefs against the belief in Thawheedh Al Uluhiyah Condemned in Qur’an & Sunnah

Thawheedh Al Uluhiyah is all about worship; therefor it is also called as Thawheedh Al Ibaadha. Ibadah has many forms. It includes all forms of outward obedience of the tongue and the limbs and inward obedience of the heart.

The types of worship that Allah commanded, such as Islam, Iman, Ihsan. which includes: Supplication (Dua), Fear (khawf), Hope (Rajaa), Reliance (Tawakkul), Longing (Raghbah) and Dreading (Rahbah), Submissiveness (khushoo), Repentance (Inaabah), Seeking Assistance (Isti'aanah), Seeking Refuge (Isti'aadhah), Offering Sacrifices (Dhabah), and all other types of worship that Allah commanded - All of these belong to Allah, alone.

Aqeedha Lesson - Belief In Thawheedh - Part 3

Thawheedh Al Uluhiyah

Thawheedh Al Uluhiyah is to single out Allah in worship, i.e. through the actions of the slave which he performs inorder to get close to Allah in the manner prescribed by the shariah.

Thawheedh Ar Rububiyah necessitates Thawheedh Al Uluhiyah, He who affirms and declares that there is no creator, sustainer, or controller of the universe except Allah - then he is required to proclaim Thawheedh Al Uluhiyah, i.e no one deserves any form of worship except Allah.

Aqeedha Lesson - Belief In Thawheedh - Part 2

Actions and beliefs against the belief in Thawheedh Ar Rububiyah condemned in Qur’an & Sunnah

1)      To wear a Ring, Twine or anything similar to them for prevention, remove harm or affliction is an act of Shirk.

The Prophet (sal) once saw a man with a brass ring on his hand and asked him, "What is this?" The man replied, "To overcome the weakness of old age." He said, "Remove it, for, it can only add to your weakness. Should death overtake you
while you are wearing it, you would never succeed."
[Musnad  Ahmad]

Aqeedha Lesson - Belief In Thawheedh - Part 1

All praise is due to Allah, and May Allah's Peace and Blessings be upon His Final Messenger, his pure family, his noble Companions, and all those who follow them with righteousness until the Day of Judgment.

Thawheedh literally means "Unification" (make something one), or "asserting Oneness".

When the term Thawheedh is used in reference to Allah, It is the belief that
